Annette Loera Salinas

July 16, 1964 — December 15, 2020

Annette Salinas, age 56, entered peacefully into God's arms on December 15, 2020, due to complications from COVID-19. Annette was born July 16, 1964 in Fort Bragg, North Carolina to Hector and Irma Loera, but El Paso has always been her home. Annette lived a wonderful life of giving and sacrifice to the community that suited her heart dedicated to service. Annette began her career tirelessly advocating for children and families through the Child Crisis Center of El Paso, a devotion for helping those in need. For the past few years, Annette served as a licensed therapist at Family Services of El Paso, where she continued her commitment to service through daily actions of love, understanding, and compassion. Annette had a passion for life, coffee, southern cuisine, and an immeasurable love for family. She was an immensely devoted and dedicated daughter, cousin, sister, aunt, mother, grandmother, wife, and friend. Annette is the loving mother of Cassandra, Mark, Aaron, Dylan, Hannah, Jennifer, Crystal, and Derek. A wonderful grandmother to Ezra, Liliana, Ariana, Micha, Faith, Zalen, and Kaley. She treasured her children and grandchildren, and embraced every moment with them. Annette was the cherished wife of the man of her dreams, Bernie. Since meeting in high school and for over the last twenty years, Annette shared an incredible and unwavering love with her husband. Annette lived every day to the fullest with love and faith as constant motivation for everything she did and stood for. There aren’t enough words to express our love and grief for Annette’s passing. Every day, as family and friends, we miss Annette and celebrate her life, with love in our hearts.
