Arturo Martell

Arturo Martell, 63, passed away October 24, 2019. He was born to Everett Leonard Monroe and Maria Martell in El Paso, TX. Arturo proudly served in the United States Army and the United States Navy. He continued his education at El Paso Community College and worked for the Ysleta Independent School District for over 25 years. He was a paraprofessional for the district where he taught everything from music to special education and worked with elementary to high school students. Arturo found his home campus in 2006 and was a proud cougar for Mission Valley Elementary for many years. He then moved onto Vista Hills Elementary, Eastwood Middle School and finally Eastwood High School. Arturo leaves behind his beloved wife Lori McCoy, son Max Antonio Martell-McCoy, brother Marcos Antonio Martell (Alicia), and sister Rita Amalia Martell. He will be missed by all who knew him. A visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-Americas.
