Bertha E. Troncoso

May 29, 1935 — November 19, 2021

Our beloved mother, Bertha Estela Martinez Troncoso, journeyed to heaven while in her home in Ysleta during the early morning hours of November 19, 2021. Bertha was born in a small village, San Antonio de los Chacon, in Chihuahua, Mexico, on May 29, 1935. She met her beloved husband, Rodolfo Troncoso, on April 24, 1953, in Monumento park in Juarez. They married on October 19, 1957, in the main Juarez cathedral. Bertha loved to read, sing, and spend time with family and friends. Her reading centered around the Bible, texts regarding La Virgen de Guadalupe, books about various Roman Catholic saints, such as Santa Teresa of Calcutta, San Francisco de Assisi, and reading material about Pope John Paul II and other important figures of the Roman Catholic church. Bertha had a generous disposition, as she enjoyed donating and supporting various Catholic charities. Bertha's incredible devotion and faith gave her a spiritual foundation that was unbreakable. Her resilient spirituality was a daily example to her children, family, friends, and anyone who came to know her. Bertha is preceded in death by her adored mother Dolores Rivero and father Jose Leopoldo Rivero. Sister: Rosa Martinez Mishaan. Brother: Rosalio Martinez. Granddaughter: Samantha Troncoso. She is survived by Daughter: Diana Cynthia Troncoso Hosseini (Hassan). Sons: Rodolfo Ariel (Amelia Troncoso), Sergio Arturo (Laura Drachman), and Oscar Adrian (Virginia Marquez). Grandchildren: Fatemeh Hosseini, Jafar Hosseini, Ruhollah Hosseini, Zainab Hosseini and Mahdieh Hosseini; Aaron Drachman Troncoso and Isaac Drachman Troncoso; Caleb Oscar Troncoso and Joshua Adrian Troncoso. Great Grandchildren: Maryam Mohseni, Noor Mohseni and Aboss Mohseni, and Musa Hosseini. Bertha was known for her devotion to her faith in God but also for the extraordinary love of her family. The legacy she wanted to leave was for her family to remain united and always faithful to God. Bertha will also be best remembered for her devotion to her husband, Rodolfo. They enjoyed each other's company as they traveled to distant parts of the world numerous times, such as to various countries in Europe, Caribbean islands, and to their favorite destination - the Holy Land in Israel.
