Betty Ann Chavez Meeks

Betty Ann (Annie) Chavez Meeks passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at the age of 73. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents Dario and Isabel Chavez and fourteen siblings. She is survived by her loving husband Edward Earl Meeks of 44 years and her beloved children; Michelle L. Tripp (Imad Abdallah), Michael A. Meeks (Michelle), Matthew E. Meeks, her loving grandchildren; Ian Abdallah, Ayden Meeks, Naime Abdallah, Dylan Meeks and Rylan Meeks and her brothers; Tony, Frank, and Johnny Chavez. A private family viewing was held on March 20th, 2021 and the cremation took place on March 25th, 2021. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at 1:00PM at Sunset Funeral Home-West. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a reception will not follow.
