Carlos Guenaga

CARLOS GUENAGA entered into the arms of his Lord and Savior on Friday, July 13, 2018 at the age of 68. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and will be greatly missed. He was a proud veteran of the Vietnam War and later retired as a Staff Sergeant from the United States Army. He continued to serve our country as a Supervisor Agent with Customs Border Protection and retired after 28 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents Alicia Sambrano and Valente Villalobos, and his wife Rosa Elvia Guenaga. He is survived by his loving children: Carlos Adrian Guenaga, Patricia Guenaga, Robert Guenaga and his wife Alma, his beloved grandchildren: Andre Arrellanes, Jocelyn Rivera, Sophia Romo, Cristian Guenaga, Iban Guenaga, Damian Guenaga, Victoria Guenaga, Karly Guenaga, Brandon Romo and Luna Guenaga; his siblings: Louis Fontane, Louie Sambrano, Michael Sambrano, Hector Sambrano and Lucy Acosta. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 9:00AM to 11:30AM, with Funeral Service to follow at 11:30AM at Sunset Funeral Home-West. Interment will follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery with Military Honors. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West, 480 N. Resler.
