Charles William Edmond

Charles William Edmond peacefully transitioned from this life on Friday, February 14, 2020. He was born to the late William Edmond and Mary Grimes on November 22, 1958. He loved working with animals of all kinds and enjoyed hunting and making people laugh. His great sense of humor, jokes, wonderful personality, and loving and giving heart will be greatly missed. Charles leaves to cherish his memories 3 children; 2 daughters Leona Daniels and Laura Grimes, and one son Kaylen Edmond and two grandchildren Jamie and Lyric. His life will be forever cherished by his step-father Eades Grimes, 1 brother Kelvin (Angela) Jordan, six sisters; Joyce Edmonds, Loretta Christmas, Robin Meeks, Angela (Frederick) McElrath, Wanda Macon (Al), and Yvonne Adair. Six nephews; Dartanius Christmas, Mark Christmas, Jr., Mitchell Henderson, Quentin Grimes, Jamall Christmas, and Braylen Jordan, 5 nieces; Latosha Constant, Phylicia Butler, Courtney Malloy, Katie Macon, and Shabria Jordan. Seventeen great-nieces and nephews, two aunts Ollie Meeks and Annabelle Garrett and a great host of devoted cousins, friends, and classmates. Gathering of Remembrance will be at 10:00am on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Unity Missionary Baptist Church, 4601 Maxwell Avenue. Funeral Service to follow at 11:00am at Unity Missionary Baptist Church. Inurnment will be private. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home Northeast.
