He was a lifetime member of the synagogue, Temple B’nai Moshe, in La Salle, Illinois, which was founded by both of his grandfathers. In 1973, Bud and Charlotte moved to El Paso and began a new life of activities and friendships. Bud served as a member of the Board of Trustees of Temple Mount Sinai, was active in the Jewish Federation of El Paso, and was a founding member of the Jewish Community Foundation of El Paso on whose board he served for many years.
