Constance Anne Norman

Constance Anne Norman, 81, passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 7, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Lee Roy Reid and Gladys Martin Reid. Constance Norman met her husband, Ronald Harlow Norman, “Harley”, at the Pershing Movie Theater while in high school, saying she thought he looked “kind of like Elvis Presley”. They fell in love and were married for 53 years until Harley’s passing in 2009. As a lifelong resident of El Paso, Mrs. Norman was a homemaker and a devoted wife and mother. She loved to sing, work in her garden and enjoyed her substitute teaching job for an exercise class at the JCC in El Paso. She was an accomplished seamstress making dresses, cheerleading uniforms and any other projects her clients brought to her. Constance Norman loved reading her Bible and was a devoted Catholic who attended St. Matthews Church in El Paso. Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Ron Norman, Art Norman (Letty), Donna Beckers, Barbara “Barbie” Church, Mark Norman (Maria), Susan Elkins; sisters Sharon Boudin (Bruce), Mary Roussel (Steve) and Kay Richard (Sam). Constance Norman was preceded in death by her parents Lee Roy and Gladys Reid, brother Gerald Reid and daughter Karen Norman.
