Dennis Keith Schoen passed peacefully from this earth on 9 July, 2020, at the age of 72. He is preceded in death by his parents Albert E. Schoen, and Catherine L. Schoen, as well as his maternal mother Doris Adelle Schoen, beloved granddaughter Rebekah L. Schoen, and his dear wife Lillian A. Schoen. Dennis was the second oldest of his siblings. He entered the United States Army in 1965 serving as a Nike Hercules Missile Technician in West Germany, until moving back to the United States. Dennis married his wife Lillian in Aken, South Carolina in 1972. He leaves behind his beloved children: son, Dennis K. Schoen Jr., daughters, Patricia Pierce Stone (Rocky Stone), Doris Donnell (Charles Donnell), and his precious grandchildren, as well as his great-grandchild and many loving nieces and nephews. Dennis always had a passion for justice and teaching and became involved in the Boy Scouts of America, specifically Post 2 Explorer Law Enforcement, mentored by the El Paso Police Department. During Dennis' tenure he served 15 years alongside 15 adult advisors to speak into the lives of 70 explorer youth attached to Mission Valley.
