Diana Sue De Santos, 52, was born in El Paso, Texas to John A. Danley and Elia Salcido.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband, Francisco De Santos III; her son, Francisco Dominic de Santos; her daughters Mary Therese de Santos and Gabriela Renee de Santos; and her brother John David Danley. Diana attended Our Lady of Assumption, Loretto Academy and UTEP. She worked as a Registered Nurse for the city, county and school district for nearly 30 years. She fought Breast Cancer valiantly for 11 years before eventually losing her battle last Friday. Her faith in God never wavered, always believing in the power of prayer. Her devotion to the Virgin Mary, Saint Therese and Saint Faustina gave her the strength to survive as long as she did. She loved her family tremendously. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with Vigil/Rosary at 7:00pm on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass. Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30am at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 4805 Byron Street followed by the Committal Service at 11:00am at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery on Friday, December 7, 2018.
