Douglas Cecil Kirkwood

Douglas C. Kirkwood, 69, Passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2021. Douglas was born in Camden, NJ on May 8, 1951 to Cecil and Helen Kirkwood. He was Preceded in death by both his parents and his twin sister Donna. He is survived by the love of his life Carlota A. Kirkwood, with whom he had just celebrated their 45th anniversary on December 20, 2020. Douglas is survived by his brother Michael , his sister Kate and niece Tiffany. He is survived by his four Children; Douglas L. (Michael), Genevieve, Edward, and Anthony(Orlando). Also, his six grand-children ; Alexis, Viche, Selah, Ryan, Daija and Edward Jr. Our father lived a full life, but was taken away from us far too quickly. We rest easier in the comfort that he did not suffer and that he is at peace. His sense of humor and constant support will be sorely missed. He will live on in our thoughts our dreams, and our cherished memories. Visitation will be from 10:00a.m. to 1:00p.m. with a Vigil/Rosary at 12:30p.m. on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Home- Northeast.
