Edmundo Ruiz

Edmundo Ruiz Born November 30, 1942 in ciudad Juárez. Son of Margarito Ruiz Escontrias and Maria De La Luz L. Ruiz. He had 5 siblings, Jose “Pepe” Ruiz, Gloria Zuniga, Emilia Valencia, Ruben Ruiz, and Elvia Limon. Edmundo was a truck driver for several companies and eventually became self employed. He worked for 50 years and enjoyed his occupation and was able to travel around the world. He left behind 3 children, Belinda Ruiz Yanez, Edmund Ruiz Jr, and Samuel Adrian Ruiz. He had 2 grandchildren Anahi Yanez and Jacqueline Diaz. 5 grandkids, Nathan Diaz (12), Aleksander Nieto (6), Daphne Diaz (6), Alondra Delgado (2), and Adelynn Delgado (1). He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He always lend a helping hand to anyone in need and loved dressing up in western wear. One of his favorite pass times was fixing up his trailers, vehicles, and planting trees. Mundo as everyone would call him is now at peace with his parents and younger brother. We love you and know you are looking down on us. A visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a rosary starting at 6:00 PM, Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr. Interment will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church 408 Park St, El Paso, TX.  Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral- Amerias
