Emma Trevizo Montes

Emma Trevizo Montes, 80, a beautiful, loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She is survived by her husband Orlando Montes of 61 years, 3 children, Orlando Jr., Bonnie (Dave Lino) and Belinda and her loving grandchildren, AJ McMillan, Adrian Lino, Shannon McMillan (Leo Lopez), Dylan Lino and her brother Tomas Trevizo. She was born in Hurley, New Mexico and was retired from the El Paso Police Department. Emma was preceded in death by her parents Alfredo and Josefina Trevizo, sister Mary Grijalva, brothers Alfredo, Raul, Savino and Gil. Mom will always be remembered for her smile, cheerfulness, commitment to family, and love for her family and friends. Mom was incredibly kind, honest and generous. She left a hole in us that only she could fill. Mom, we will miss you forever! Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 6:00 PM, Monday, June 14, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Homes - East, 750 N. Carolina. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 AM, Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at San Antonio Catholic Church, 503 Hunter. Interment will follow at 1:00 PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
