Esma H. Hart

Esma Hart, age 83 – a longtime resident of El Paso – passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2018. She was born on October 12, 1934 in Whitesburg, KY to Lonzie and Myrtle Halcomb. Esma was married for over 64 years to James Hart, whom she met in the 8th grade. She retired from Sears and later retired from the El Paso ISD. Besides her family, Esma’s passion was bowling. Her bowling friends were very special to her. She is survived by her husband James Hart; daughter Kathy McConnell, husband Donald; son Robert Hart, wife Fran; granddaughter Jennifer Morgan, husband Todd; grandson Justin McConnell and granddaughter Kelsey Hart; sisters Betty Wilson, Dorothy Sexton, husband Billy and Mary York, husband Ernie; loving family and dear friends. Esma was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers: Ray, Jimmy, Henry and Howard Halcomb; and sisters: Faye Morgan and Sarah Smith. Visitation will begin at 12noon with a Funeral Service at 1:00pm on Friday, November 23, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass.
