Eva Maude "Maudie" Tisdale

Eva Maude Tisdale, 96, known by most as Maudie, went to join her beloved husband, son, and daughter-in-law. Maudie was born February 28, 1921, in Pickensville, AL. She was married in January, 1942, to John Frank Tisdale, Jr. They raised three children, Frank, Linda and Richard. Maudie was the last surviving sibling of six children born to George and Lilli Mae Downer. She is survived by her daughter Linda Hendrix, and her son Richard Tisdale, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Maudie had an adventurous life due to her husband, “Bub”, being in the military which allowed them to travel to Europe and many states around the US. They retired in El Paso, Texas, which is where they called home. Eva Maude was loved dearly by her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
