Frank Aaron Silberman

September 5, 1951 — October 11, 2018

FRANK AARON SILBERMAN passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at the age of 67. He was a loving, father, brother, uncle, friend, and generous member to the community as well as an admired guitarist. He is survived by his loving family Norma, Sarah, and Sean Silberman, his siblings Danny Silberman, his wife and daughter, Carol McElroy, her husband, closest friend Emma Montoya and her son, lifelong friend Mark Kaplan, newly found family Sonya and Marc Pries, and family of Joe Miller jr. His spirit will be hovering throughout the El Paso area through everyday activities his family and friends are a part of. His past included degrees in respiratory therapy, occupational therapy, and psychology. He spent countless years in the El Paso School District advocating for special needs children through his gentle guitar music, his ability to make everyone smile, and most importantly; his strong heart for getting the kids and their families what they needed for success and happiness. He recently retired 3 years ago after his mother passed to devote his time to his children. He was the greatest advocate for small art businesses, rock and classical concerts, History and Discovery Channels, GiGis playhouse, Camp Kadima, Instant Karma in the city of Cloudcroft, The El Paso Symphony, and Whole Foods. He was a man of togetherness, peace in thy self, and spreading happiness, love, humor, and puns to everyone he met anywhere he went. The family asks for prayers to help his spirit rest peacefully knowing his family and friends are all in good hands. His generous, open hearted, kind personality will be lived on for generations to come through his family and by all who knew and loved him in the community. His adoration for his two children will never be forgotten; only cherished by them as well as continued by their mother, family, and friends. As he always used to say in good times, funny times, times of dismay, and always with a smile... “Oy Vey.” Family will be having a private memorial service to honor his life.
