Helene Marie Brown

Helene Brown lived in the same house for 40 years. She was quite a character, and walked around the neighborhood, in her mumu everyday and stopped to talk to everyone she met. She was preceded in death by her husband, of 46 years, William S. Brown. They were married in Unterheimlich, Germany, where she was born and soon after they moved to El Paso. For the past two and a half years, she resided at Ambrosio Guillen Veterans Home, where she was well cared for by a wonderful staff. Many thanks to everyone, nurses, CNAs , Doctors, Activities Director, and PT staff. May God Bless you all, for the loving way you care for your residents. On behalf of her old friends and caregivers we invite you join us to remember her. Gathering of Remembrance will be from 12:00pm to 2:00pm with a Prayer Service at 1:30pm on Friday, July 11, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Committal Service will be at 2:30pm on Friday, July 11, 2014 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home Northeast.
