Isabel Wyatt

October 24, 1942 — January 8, 2021

Isabel “Chavela” Wyatt went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, January 8, 2021 at the age of 78. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend and will be greatly missed. Isabel is preceded in death by her beloved parents; Máximo Balderas† and Isabel Tanguma†. She is survived by her adoring husband; Eugene Lee Wyatt, her loving children; Angelie Vincent(Brian), Deborah Hutson(Shawn), and Rebecca Pérez(Christian). She also left behind eight grandchildren; Victor Smith, Caleb Smith, Máximo Cruz, Christopher Cruz, Catalina Cruz, Claire Hutson, Christian Pérez and Isaac Pérez, to honor and cherish her memory. She was born October 24, 1942 in Mission, Texas. Isabel was the youngest of twelve siblings. She was a lifelong member of the Apostolic Church and was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. She also sang in the Messengers of Peace Youth Choir and was an active member of the Dorcas. She graduated from Mission High School in 1962 and continued her education and received her LVN certificate in nursing. She was a very giving person and it brought her joy to take care of others. She met her husband while on a trip to visit her sister in California. It didn’t take long for them to fall in love and marry in 1970. After a few years of marriage they settled in El Paso, Texas where they raised their family. They recently celebrated 50 years of marriage on July 14, 2020. She devoted her entire life to the church and to her children, grandchildren, and husband. She had a beautiful singing voice and enjoyed singing in church every Sunday. She will continue to sing in eternity with the Lord. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 Visitation will be held from 9:00am to 11:00am on Friday, January 15, 2021 along with a Prayer Service at 10:00am at Sunset Funeral Homes – West.
