Jennifer Hoekstra

Jennifer Hoekstra, a long-time resident of El Paso, TX, passed away on Sunday, July 15th, 2018 at the age of 34. Jenny is survived by her mother, Charlotte Taylor; step father Thomas Taylor; her children, Jordan, Sierra, Jamarra, and Jamajj Hoekstra; her grandmother, Linda Eichensehr; her grandfather, Richard Hoekstra; her sisters, Laura Jennings, Danielle Lindbloom and Coreina Taylor; and her brothers, Christopher Jennings and Timothy Taylor. Jenny was born in Anthony, TX on June 10th, 1984 to Charlotte Hoekstra and James Allen Jennings. She graduated from High School and worked her way up to the coolest Assistant Manager at Big 8 Store on Dyer. Jenny was a devoted mother to her kids. She was full of life, had a bubbly personality, and could bring happiness to anyone just by seeing her smile. She was a very loving mother, daughter, sister, auntie and friend. She was very proud of her children and would always happily show cute pictures and videos of them to her co-workers, family and friends. Even with everything going on in her life, she never complained. She worked very hard at her job of 14 years, where she worked her way up from a cashier/stocker to an Assistant Manager. Everyone who worked with her said she was the best manager anyone could ever have. Although she was taken from us so sudden, her loving spirit will live on forever. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and all who knew her. Gathering of Remembrance is scheduled from 5:00PM-9:00PM with Memorial Service to start at 7:00PM on Friday, July 20th, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Homes- East 750 N. Carolina 79915.
