John Joseph Primozich

John Joseph Primozich was born on October 25, 1941, in Denver, Colorado, and passed away on July 27, 2021, In El Paso, Texas. A life – long educator, he started his career through the teacher corps in the 1960s, working first in Ft. Hancock and then joining the Ysleta Independent School District, from which he retired in the 1990s. During his career, John Championed the use of technology and robotics in schools, working as an administrator overseeing implementation of new technologies in the libraries. Golf, Basketball, Chess, Cars and motorcycles were an important part of John’s life, bonding which his three sons through each. He Played golf throughout his life, and spent two years after retirement working for Painted Dunes Golf Course. He also continued to teach Math as an adjunct instructor with El Paso Community College until 2007. John is survived by his three sons, Blayne, Neil and Jeremy, his two grandchildren, Alina and James, his brother Tom and his Sister June. Visitation will be from 2:00 - 6:00 PM, with Prayer Service at 5:00 PM, on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Homes- Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass.
