Jose Rogelio Monarrez, 61, entered into eternal rest on April 12, 2021 in Kingwood, Texas. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Maria Guadalupe Monarrez, parents; Ascencion Monarrez and Maria Monarrez. Jose is survived by his children; Jose Rogelio Monarrez and Cindy Catoe Monarrez, sister; Maria Guadalupe Vara. Also leaving behind his seven beautiful grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a rosary starting at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr. A funeral mass will be starting at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Interment will follow at 12:30 PM at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home- Americas.
