Judy VanGeison

Judy VanGeison, 93, passed away February 25, 2021, in El Paso , Texas. She was born in Tottori, Japan. Judy graduated with a nursing degree and worked at the American Military Hospital where she met Paul VanGeison. They married in Japan and moved to the United States. They were stationed in Michigan, Maine, and Texas. Judy worked at Sun Towers Hospital for a number of years. She enjoyed performing Classical Japanese dance, bowling in a league, gardening, and traveling. Judy also received her diploma in cosmetology. She took pleasure in serving others, as was evident through her volunteer work at the Red Cross of William Beaumont Hospital, Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, and Blinded Veterans Association Auxiliary, where she served as president for 13 years. After Paul passed, Judy moved to Royal Estates of El Paso and enjoyed participating in activities with the many friends she met there. Judy is survived by her brother and sister and extended family in Japan. She will be missed by her many close friends throughout the United States. Services will be held at a later date.
