Julieta Bacawag Oguete, 88, has been reunited with her husband after 38 years. She is preceded in death by her husband Jovito Nillos Oguete. She was born on November 09, 1932 in Sibalom, Antique, Philippines. She came to El Paso, TX in 1956, and made El Paso her home. She is survived by her five children; Jovilita Goes (Mark), Janet McCall (Dee), Joel Oguete (Becky), Jean Burnside (Stephen) and James Oguete (Jennifer). She is also, survived by her nine grandchildren; Christopher Goes, Alan McCall, Tiffany McCall, Melissa Goes, Matthew McCall, Amanda Burnside, Noah Oguete, Ian Oguete, and Jaelynn Oguete. She is survived by her sister Victoria Zamora in the Philippines and her brother Benjamin Bacawag in Hawaii. She was a founding and lifelong member of the Filipino American Association. Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 8:00pm with a Rosary at 6:00pm on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 131 S. Zaragoza Road. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:30am on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. Committal Service to follow at 1:00pm at Fort Bliss National Cemetery (West Shelter) Honorary Pallbearers are her sons; Joel and James Oguete. Pallbearers; Mark Goes, Dee McCall, Stephen Burnside, Jeffrey Evangelista Bacawag, Christopher Goes, and Jimmy Hernandez. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home Northeast.
