Leanne Marie Thompson

In Loving Memory Leanne Marie Thompson 03-24-1961 ~ 07-20-2020 Born in Bermingham, Alabama, and raised in El Paso, TX and Chaparral, NM. She was wife of James A. Thompson, and is the mother of Karissa, Mark, and Kyle, and grandmother of Saige. She was one of the toughest people I knew, with a sense of humor that was bigger than her. She loved her family, friends, and animals. She truly enjoyed reading, humming birds, and dream catchers. She is survived by her parents; William Miller Sr. and Priscilla Rabizant, her siblings; William Jr. (Bill), Bryan, Cindy, Corliss, and Lucinda. Along with many extended family members. FAMILY MEMORIES Saige (grandson) My memory with ma would be standing out on the porch, the sky was pink and orange from the sun setting, and we went for a walk to look at the big, inflatable, pink gorilla they used to have across the street on mccombs. Karissa (daughter) Mom, Mark, and I were watching Home Alone. At the part where the one robber was stomping out there fire on the other robbers genitals, mom was laughing so hard. We kept rewinding it over and over to keep hearing her laugh. Mark (son) The best times I had with my mom is when my mom used to always tell me everything's going to be okay, no matter what. And it always was and always will be because it's just the way life is. Kyle (son) When I first met mom, I remember she was just so completely happy. She showed me the bottle of champagne she saved for 30 years, since the day of my birth.
