Maria Theresa Rice

On January 12th our beautiful Maria lost her battle with profound loneliness...she is preceded in death by her maternal Grandmother, H. Monica Traficante...She is survived by her mother Tammy Traficante Bowden, her father William Edward Rice, her sister, Christina Angelina Moran, her brother, Anthony Hunter Rice, her maternal Grandfather, Anthony John Traficante, her paternal Grandparents Thomas Hunter Rice and Cecilia Phillips Rice, her Step Father, David Warren Bowden, her Step Brothers; David Mathew Bowden, Taylor Reed Bowden and Brent Evan Bowden, her Step Mother, Clara Medina, her Nephews; Orion Anthony Hale, Bentley Anthony Rice and expected Leo Victor Moran, her brother-in-law Tom Godefroid Moran, Alan Ray Hale (father of Orion), and Nicole De La Pena (fiance' of her brother and mother of Bentley), as well as many extended family members, mentors and friends...the empty space left forever in all of our hearts will never be filled, but we take great comfort in knowing that her beautiful voice, and musical and literary gifts, which have touched people, all over the world, combined with her extreme levels of empathy and compassion for those less fortunate , will be her legacy...Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 5:00PM TO 9:00PM, with a funeral service at 7:00PM, at Sunset Funeral Home West.
