Michael Abeyta

January 24, 1950 — October 22, 2021

On October 22, 2021 at 2:19 A.M. we raised our dear loved one to our Lord Jesus! As a pillar in our lives, today also etched in our hearts when God took His son Mike Abeyta home to rest in peace within the Heavens above. A servant for Christ first, a husband of 54 years, a Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and friend was a man who committed his life to Christ above all. His everlasting smile embraced our hearts with a powerful presence of joy! We will miss him immensely, knowing that his legacy will continue to live on through everyone he touched. His fight for life was due to his love for our amazing mother Becky Abeyta, his children and grandchildren and many faithful friends. Born and raised in El Paso, TX by Margie and Raul Abeyta. He is survived by his brothers Max and Bobby Abeyta. Their wives Libby and Linda. He is also survived by his children Mark, Matt, wife Carrie and Michelle. Grandkids include Ryan, Justin, Megan, Morgan, Justis, Jeremy, and Baby Austin, plus many more family members. Mike spent 21 years as an El Paso Firefighter, and over 20 years as a well-known Real Estate Appraiser, Abeyta Appraisals. A Chaplain for the El Paso Fire Department, Chaplain for Borderland 100 and a volunteer for many other groups. He loved life to the fullest. He structured his heart around loving every single person he came in contact with. He loved his life with his family and would surrender his own for others! His desire is for everyone to rejoice Christ in your hearts and to always love life to its fullest! It's with a heavy heart; but, yet a joyful one that we celebrate his life he lived. His desire will be that we as a Christian Biblical family and friends stay committed to love Christ in all of our hearts who gave us eternal life through Jesus! Please join us in the praise of our Lord Jesus that Mike Abeyta lived a full and joyful life with everyone. His desire is not to have sorrow; but pure joy knowing that he is now in everlasting peace with Jesus! Psalms 116:15 "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his faithful servants" Amen.
