Naquitta Nacole Buckhalter-Dunnell was born June 26, 1981 in Winona, Mississippi to Nathaniel and Jeanette Buckhalter. Naquitta finished her course on January 05, 2014 and the Lord welcomed her home. She was a member of the Unity Missionary Baptist Church, where Pastor Lonnie Townsend is Pastor.
Naquitta loved life. She especially loved her family. Her 5 siblings were her pride and joy. She also loved her church family, the Unity Trailblazers, the Lovely Sunset Baptist association, and music just to name a few.
Naquitta leaves behind to treasure her memory her parents Nathaniel and Jeanette Buckhalter; her brothers, Nathaniel Buckhalter, Jr., Nicholas Buckhalter, Noah Buckhalter, Nigil Buckhalter; and her sister Natalie Buckhalter.
Naquitta was united in Holy matrimony and leaves behind Min. Charles E.S. Dunnell, Jr. November 7, 2010. She also leaves behind brother-in-law Toby C. Dunnell; sister-in-law Shavonna L. Williams; and mother-in-law Voncile S. Dunnell.
Naquitta graduated from Northeast Christian Academy in May 2000 and from Pensacola Christian College in May 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies/Bible and Music. She began working on a Master Degree in Accounting at Webster University and later transferred to Grand Canyon University. Her desire was to become a “Christian Accountant”.
She was employed at Fort Bliss as a contract worker through IAP World Services until, approximately two years ago, her illness rendered her unable to continue.
Visitation: 6:00pm to 9:00pm with Reflection of Life at 7:00pm on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Celebration of Life: 12:15pm on Monday, January 13, 2014 at Unity Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
