She graduated in 1954 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and went to work at El Paso Natural Gas Company. Pat was a former member of the Junior League of El Paso, where she spent many hours volunteering for Family Services of El Paso. As a parishioner at the Church of St. Clement, she served on the Altar and Flower Guilds. In addition, she valued her many years as the assistant to the rector of the Church of St Clement. Pat was an avid gardener and a voracious reader. She also enjoyed weekly games of Mahjong when living in Alto, NM.
