Portia Carlotta Wallace

Portia Carlotta Wallace was lovingly welcomed to the world by James and Josephine Wallace on February 13, 1964 in Key West, Florida. The second of two girls, Portia instantly bonded with her older sister as the military lifestyle kept the family moving, eventually as far as Germany. Stateside, an independent and passionate personality had taken hold. A free spirit and thirst for adventure found Portia traveling the country, chasing the tours of some of the biggest rock stars of her time, often on her own motorcycle. Portia would eventually return home to El Paso after the birth of her son. Here, her magnetic personality made it easy for her to find new, and lifelong friends. The birth of her grandson would only enbolden her spirit as she grew from mother, to gandmother. This outflowing of love would follow her the rest of her days. On June 17th, 2018, Portia peacefully transitioned from our world, with her mother lovingly by her side. Portia is preceded by her father, James. Lovingly, she is survived by Mother, Josephine; Sister, Valerie; Son, Hanson; and Grandson, Holden. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM with a Funeral Service at 12:00 PM, Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Homes- East, 750 N. Carolina.
