Rebecca Eva Vaughan

April 20, 1951 — November 25, 2020

Rebecca Eva Vaughan was born on April 20, 1951 in Los Angeles, California. She was a graduate of San Fernando High School, class of 1968. Rebecca was a loving mother of two children, Renee Andrea and David Garcia. Rebecca was the loving wife of Kenneth Vaughan. They made their home together in El Paso, Texas. She leaves behind three sisters, Yoli Stoll, Patricia Newkirk, and Pam Sralik. She also leaves behind cousins, Brian Stoll, Edward Stoll, and Roxann Moreno. Rebecca retired as a contract data analyst for multiple law enforcement organizations. She was a very active member of the El Paso Jazz Society, as well as other local music organizations promoting youth jazz musicianship and scholarship programs, for which she secured many grants supporting these young musicians and organizations. Rebecca was also an avid music fan and promoter, and was a regular on the El Paso music scene, beloved by many local bands because of her steadfast love and support for live music. Rebecca was deeply spiritual with a profound love of God that manifested itself in a generosity and kindness that is rarely scene. She is now with God and will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Well done Rebecca. God speed and God bless for a wonderful life of service to others.
