Rene Padilla

RENE PADILLA entered into the hands of the Lord on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at the age of 66. He will be remembered by his beloved mother Isabel; his loving wife, Irma; sons Rene Jr. and Ruben; grandchildren Miguel Rene, Javier Andres, Ruben Jr., Ricardo, and Miriam Annette; siblings Armida Garay, Georgina Lightbourn, Jaime Padilla, and Cristina Perez as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Rene was preceded in death by his father Eduardo Padilla and his brother Eduardo Alonzo Padilla. He had a long-time career as a toolmaker and was a veteran of Vietnam having served proudly with the US Navy. Rene was greatly loved and will be tremendously missed by all of his family. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 1, 2019 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM, with Holy Rosary at 7:00PM at Sunset Funeral Home-West. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at 12:00PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2709 Alabama with interment to follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery at 1:30PM, with Navy Honors. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West, 480 N. Resler.
