Rosa Bueno

Our dearest Rosa Bueno, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and Friend, age 76, entered the gates of heaven on April 12, 2021. Born August 30, 1944 in Durango, Mexico to Sabino and Leandra Vargas. Married on 12/30/1965, Rosa and Raul Bueno recently achieved 55 years of matrimony. Together, they had two sons, Edwardo and Raul. Her compassion and giving nature provided comfort to anyone in need. She loved to care for people, particularly the elderly. Her selflessness and dedication to make a positive impact in someone’s life was her driving force. Through a kind word and gesture, or an offering of friendship, she made this earth a better place for many. She loved her two boys with no conditions or boundaries. Her life was devoted to them. She was their anchor and place of refuge. Her spirit will continue to shine in their hearts and lives. During this difficult time, solace is being provided knowing that Rosa Bueno is with our Lord and all burdens placed of her earthly body have been lifted. She is rejoicing in his presence. She will live in our hearts and memories by caring for one another and performing acts of kindness when the opportunity arises. She was truly the Lord’s steward. We want to thank everyone that provided prayers and well wishes while our mother was in hospital. We are indebted to you. The wonderful care she received from Dr. Omar and his team, all the nurses and staff in Del Sol’s CVICU. Dr. Urias, your compassion will never be forgotten. John and Maria Elena, Lorenzo and Silva, Eva, Lourdes, Alma, Ana Maria, Elsa, Lily, Olga, and so many more. Thank you for providing our mother with your friendship. Greg and Anita, your friendship is greatly appreciated, thank you for all the years you looked out for Mom. Thank you, Pastor Oliveros and family, for providing us with spiritual support and to every member of El Pescador Ministries, our mother loved you. To All that she loved and touched deeply. Rosa is survived by her husband Raul and her two sons, Edwardo “Eddie”, wife Deleana, and Raul “Ruly”, wife Ivonne; Grandchildren- Christopher, Emily, Sarah, and Evan; Greatgrandchildren- Noah and Emma. Siblings- Theresa, Juan, Amalia, Augustine, Alfredo. Many nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by her Mother and Father, Sabino and Leandra. Sisters- Ricarda and Inocencia. Please join us celebrating her life Thursday evening, April 22, 2021, between 5 p.m. — 8 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home, 750 N. Carolina. Interment services will be held at El Pescador Ministries, Friday, April 23, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. Followed by Funeral procession to Restlawn Memorial Park, 4848 Alps Dr., where Rosa Bueno will be laid to rest at 12:30 p.m.
