Rosa Maria Del Socorro Saenz

Rosa Maria Saenz beloved wife, cherished mother, and admired grandmother and friend, passed away on Sunday July 22, 2018 at the age of 71 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on September 14, 1946 in Zacatecas, Mexico and moved to the United States at the age of 17. She with her husband and family were proud owners of Super Burro Mexican Restaurant in Northeast El Paso. She enjoyed cooking for her family, playing with her grandchildren and the occasional trip to her favorite casinos. She was known to be very active, and hard working woman always offering advice and helping people any way she could. She made each person feel loved with her tender touch and infectious smile. Her wisdom, energy and love will continue to live inside all that she touched and inspired. She is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Jesus Saenz, parents Manuel and Mother Maria Escobedo, her brothers Jose and Manuel Escobedo. She is survived by her children Isabel Medrano, Jesus Saenz Jr, Rosa Catizin, Ana Saenz, and Alejandro Saenz along with her siblings Maria Luisa Mandujano, Jose Escobedo, Ana Cruz and adoring 15 grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a Vigil/Rosary at 7:00pm on Friday, July 27, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00am on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2709 Alabama. Committal Service to follow at 11:00am at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
