Salvador Armando Huerta Jr passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2020. He was born July 20, 1952. Salvador is survived by his loving wife, Carmen A. Rodriguez-Huerta, his son, Salvador Armando Huerta III, his daughters, Noemi Shuttlesworth (Jeremy), and Lisa Marie Huerta, his step-son, Javier Parada, his step-daughters, Ana Minjarez (Mike), and Celina Parada. Along with his ten grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. Salvador is also survived by two brothers, Arturo Huerta, and David Huerta (Joan) and one sister, Norma Boeckner (Richard). He was preceded in death by his parents Salvador and Guadalupe Huerta. Salvador was an active member of Our Lady of The Light Catholic Church. He had a passion for music at an early age, he was a bass player for several bands in El Paso. His legacy will live on in in the hearts and minds of everyone he interacted with a well as those he reached but never met through music. Please join us in celebrating Salvador Huerta's life with a Gathering of Remembrance from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM with a Vigil at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 19, 2020, at Sunset Funeral Homes – East, 750 N.
