On Sunday, February 16th, 2020 Salvador Knight, beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather went to be with the Lord at the age of 73.
He is survived by his wife Regina Knight, his two children, Paul James Knight, Janet Knight-Burlech, and 3 grandchildren, John Prado Jr., Cassidy Taylor Knight and Nathaniel James Knight his sisters; Virginia Duran, Mary Francis Hinojosa, brother Jacob Knight Jr., and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He served in the Navy from 1967 to 1971 on the ship USS Betelgeuse (AK(FMB)-260); he worked at the El Paso Phelps Dodge Copper Refinery as an Industrial Mechanic and was a member of Toastmasters International. He received a certificate of license into the Gospel of Ministry to preach the Gospel as he may have opportunity to exercise his gifts in the works of the ministry, by Fort Hancock Baptist Church at Fort Hancock Texas on February 19, 1989.
He loved God, his family and ministering to people. He enjoyed Mopar muscle cars and swimming. He was knowledgeable about many things and had a terrific sense of humor and a wonderful smile. He was a blessing and a gift to all that knew him.
Preceded in death by his Step-Father Jacob Knight, his Mother Erlinda Knight and Mary Lou Rangel. Committal Service will be at 10:30am on Thursday March 12, 2020 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Navy Honors. Service entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home Northeast.
