Velia is survived by her beloved husband Nicolas Mendoza; son Ruben Mendoza; daughters Blanca Estela Gomez, Maribel Davalos; brothers Jose Soto, Benjamin Soto; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM with a rosary starting at 3:30 PM on Friday, November 27, 2020 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Drive, El Paso, TX 79907.
