Walburga "Walli" S. Sanchez

Walburga Schwenke Sanchez, 90, passed away on Friday January 31,2020. Walli was born in Heddernheim Frankfurt am/main Germany on March 15, 1929. She was married to the love of her life for 73 years and arrived in the United States with her husband and young family in 1954. Walli was a homemaker, mother of 5, grandmother of 7, great grandmother of 11 and great -great grandmother of 2. Walli was preceded in death by her parents; Heinrich and Eva Schwenke, her sister Johanna and her brother Fritz. She leaves behind her husband Ubaldino Sanchez, sons Paul (Sandra) Sanchez, Michael Sanchez, and daughters Josephine (Pastor Jack) Berg, Nancy Wimmer and Eva (Klaus) Urbanek. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, February 05, 2020 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass Drive. Committal Service will begin at 10:00 AM on Thursday, February 06, 2020 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson.
