Abraham De La Rosa, 81, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2015 surrounded by family. Abraham was a veteran of the Korean War where he served as a proud Marine. He is survived by his loving wife; Margarita De La Rosa, children; Jesse Edward De La Rosa (Renee), Betty Jean Aguilar (Luis Garcia Jr.), Frances Yvonne Yee (Alan), Richard Arthur De La Rosa (Teresa), sister; Carmen Zubiate, grandchildren; Jacqueline R. De La Rosa, Jessica D. Hudson, Dominique A. De La Rosa, Dante E. De La Rosa, Christine Aguilar, Andrew D. Aguilar, Stephanie Moreno, Claudia Garcia, Jennifer Y. Bustillos, Valerie N. Bustillos, Michael A. Bustillos, Jason R. Yee, Nicole L. Yee, Melissa M. Yee, Abraham A. De La Rosa, Adam E. De La Rosa, 13 Great Grandchildren and several nephews, nieces, family and friends. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr. with a Vigil at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be said at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Most Holy Trinity Church, 10,000 Pheasant Rd. Interment will be at 1:00 p.m. at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Military Honors. Pallbearers will be Jesse E. De La Rosa, Dante E. De La Rosa, Michael A. Bustillos, Alan K. Yee, Richard A. De La Rosa, Abraham De La Rosa, Adam E. De La Rosa and Andrew D. Aguilar. Honorary Pallbearers will be Edward M. Granado, Jesus Granado Jr., Robert Rivera and Manuel Diaz.
