Gay Trimble, a long-time resident of El Paso died Monday, March 14th at Regent Care Center.
Born in 1923 in Bangs, TX, she was a graduate of Brownwood High School in Brownwood, TX.
During World War II she worked at the Draft Board in Amarillo, Texas. She then followed her husband, Earl Trimble, through training in Kentucky and California before his deployment overseas. Her family relocated from Amarillo to El Paso in the late 1960's. She worked as a bookkeeper for several El Paso companies. She was married to Earl 60 years.
While residing in El Paso she was an active member at both Eastwood and Northside Churches of Christ.
She loved bluebonnets from her early upbringing in the Texas Hill Country, camping, Leo's chile con queso and her morning cup of coffee. She was dedicated to her family and they loved her greatly.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Brenda Trimble of San Antonio, Texas, and her daughter, Carla Rodriguez of El Paso, Texas. In addition to her two children, she is survived by two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast on March 17th from 6pm to 8pm. A private Committal Service will be held at a later date at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
