Agustin Marcos Ortiz

Agustin M. Ortiz, 43, April 21, 1972 – December 30, 2015. Agustin was born in Bronx, New York. He was a proud Marine. He was a retired Army Staff Sergeant, serving more than 21 years. He loved video games and Magic Cards. He was so patient and so easy to be around. He loved to teach and talk (non stop). He is survived by his wife Irma Ortiz and their son Marco; his eldest son Michael Ortiz; his mother and father, Ethel and Marcos Ortiz and his brothers: Benny Velazquez, Jose Velazquez, Robert Velazquez, Marcus Ortiz and his sisters: Maria Velazquez and Yvette Ortiz. To My Love, I remember the day I met you, and the day God made you mine. I remember the day I lost you and I will till the end of time. But among the tears and heartache, there’s one thing that makes me glad, that you chose me to share with you all those years we had. So treasure him Lord in your Garden of Rest, for on this Earth he was one of the best. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Vigil / Rosary will be at 7:00 PM Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Mass Will be at 9:30 AM Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
