Aiden Joseph Carroll

Aiden Joseph Carroll, newborn son of Robert and Dorene Carroll, entered the gates of heaven to be with Our Lord on November 15, 2006. Aiden is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Joseph Carroll III. He is survived by his parents, Robert and Dorene Carroll, his grandparents, Ernesto & Dora Camacho and Robert and Ofelia Carroll; his maternal aunts & uncle: Enedina Camacho and Gabriel & Mara Perez; paternal aunts: Yvonne Carroll, Linda Carroll, Tracy Carroll, Deanna Carroll, Debra Carroll, and Yolanda Reyes paternal uncles: Richard Carroll and Dennis Carroll; and generations of cousins. We are very thankful that we were able to hold Aiden, kiss him and say goodbye. We will miss him deeply and we will keep him alive in our hearts always. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 9:00 pm and Vigil/Rosary at 7:00 pm on Monday, November 20, 2006 at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass. Scripture Service at 1:30 pm, Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Makes it even harder for us to let you go. We waited and we longed for you. Many dreams we had for you too. We think of smiles we'll never see. We think of events that will never be. There will be no first steps and no first teeth. There is only a void and overwhelming grief. We planned to take you to places far and near. We yearned to keep you safe and free from fear. We hoped to show you much of your new world. We wanted to teach you as your life unfurled. It’s hard to understand why you, our baby, died. Our hearts ache and many tears we’ve cried. We have so many questions and no answers seem to come. We wanted so much to save you but nothing could be done. God, we stand before you broken-hearted, For this little one we can no longer hold. He will always be a part of us, even when we're old. God, take Aiden in your loving arms, for with you he can suffer no harm. Reunite him with his big brother Together they can laugh and play Until we can all reunite, one sweet day Bless him always and bless us too, be with us and help us to make it through.
