Albertina (Tina) Pearson was born on February 18, 1939 in New Orleans, Louisiana. God called her home on Monday, September 3, 2012 in El Paso, Texas. Mrs. Pearson was a longtime citizen of El Paso, Texas. She is survived by her daughter, Madera "Tee" Rogers-Henry; 22 nieces and nephews; cousins and in-laws. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Pearson; her parents, William and Lula Mae Rogers; and brothers, James C. Rogers and Otha M. Major. She will be greatly missed by her whole community. Visitation will be on Sunday, September 9, 2012, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at Sunset Funeral Home, 4631 Hondo Pass Avenue, El Paso, Texas. The Home-Going Service will be held on Monday, September 10, 2012, at 11:00 am, also at Sunset. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery located at 12400 E. Montana.
