Alberto V. Hernandez born June 25, 1943 passed away at home on Saturday, December 21, 2013. Alberto better known as Beto, was a man of his word who believed in an honest day’s work. He enjoyed his family and friends and listening to good music. Riding his horse Blu for hours was one of his favorite past-times. Alberto was co-owner of several businesses; Rainbow Hardware, Rainbow Apartments, and Rainbow Mobile Home Park. He retired as the owner and operator of Albert’s Mobile Home Transporting. He is preceded in death by his parents; Mauro D. Hernandez and Francisca V. Hernandez, brother; Mauro V. Hernandez, and his infant son; Michael Victor Hernandez. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Emma Duran Hernandez, son; Albert O. Hernandez, daughters; Yvonne (Brian) Hernandez Wexler, Virginia Ann (Oscar) Hernandez Carrillo, five grandchildren; Jonathan Michael (Rachel) Enriquez, Kandice Palomino, Matthew Shaun Wexler, Brian Joseph Wexler, Sarah Nicole Wexler, three great grandchildren; Zariah Enriquez, Michael Enriquez, Isabella Enriquez, Brother; Arturo V. Hernandez. Pall Bearers will be; Albert O. Hernandez, Jonathan Enriquez, Matthew Shaun Wexler, Brian Joseph Wexler, Brian Wexler, Oscar Carrillo and Ivan Ogelsby. Honorary Pall Bearers; Arturo V. Hernandez and Lalo Ramos. Visitation: 4-9 pm, Thursday, December 26, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas with Vigil at 7:00 pm; 9521 North Loop Dr. Mass: 11:00 am, Friday, December 27, 2013 at San Lorenzo Catholic Church. Interment: Mount Carmel Cemetery.
