Alberto Avila Torres, 82, passed away November 17, 2018. He is survived by his loving wife, Alicia Torres, son, Alberto L. Torres, daughters, Cecilia Chavez (Alberto), Petra Torres, Minerva T. Florido (Nolberto), grandchildren, Christina E. Chavez, Antonio A. Chavez, Alejandro A. Florido, Adrian A. Florido and nieces and nephews. A visitation will be from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday, November 23, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church Saturday, November 24, 2018. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-Americas.
