Altagracia "Grace" Velasco

Altagracia “Grace” Velasco, age 84, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 12, 2024. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother; and will be greatly missed. Altagracia is preceded in death by her parents; Manuel Navar and Trinidad Alvarez; her loving husband; Marcelino Velasco; and her son; Jose Luis Velasco; her siblings; Jesus Navar, Celestino Navar, Vicente Navar, Jose Navar and Romana Navar; and her granddaughter; Sofia Velasco. She is survived by her dearest children; Juan Velasco, Isela Rivera and Francisca Velasco; her sisters; Bernarda Rodriguez and Florencia Navar; and her 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She is also survived by many extended family and friends to cherish and honor her memory.

A Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, November 22, 2024 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 131 S. Zaragoza Rd., El Paso, TX 79907 followed by a Graveside Service at 11:15 am at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
