Andres Alexis Montañez, 19, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2026.
Andres was born in El Paso, TX, on November 21st, 2006.
He graduated from Parkland High School, which was one of his biggest accomplishments. Making his parents proud of him, being their only son. Bibi, as he was known to family, was a sweet, kind, caring, and loving person. Bibi’s world revolved around his siblings, but more importantly, his mom.
Growing up, Andres was all about video games and sports, especially soccer. As he grew older he loved spending time with his cousins and friends whenever he could. Another great
accomplishment for him was securing his first job. His main goal was always to make his mom so proud of him and to be able to financially support his family. He was loved and completely adored by everyone who ever crossed his path. One of his most noticeable attributes was always his big perfect smile and his contagious laugh.
Andres leaves behind his parents, Myriam and Andres, and his sisters, Andrea, Alexa, Renata, and half-sister Daniela. As well as grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
Funeral Services
A funeral mass will be held for Andres on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 11:00am at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 2709 Alabama Street. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park.

Andrés Alexis Montañez, de 19 años, falleció el Sábado 30 de Mayo del 2026. Andrés nació en El Paso el 21 de Noviembre del 2006.
Se graduó de Parkland High School, uno de sus mayores logros, llenando de orgullo a sus padres al ser su único hijo varón. “Bibi”, como era conocido por su familia, era una persona dulce, amable, cariñosa y amorosa. El mundo de Bibi giraba alrededor de sus hermanas, pero más importante aún, de su mamá.
Durante su niñez, Andrés disfrutaba mucho de los videojuegos y los deportes, especialmente el fútbol. Conforme fue creciendo, le encantaba pasar tiempo con sus primos y amigos siempre que podía. Otro de sus grandes logros fue conseguir su primer trabajo. Su principal meta siempre fue hacer sentir orgullosa a su mamá y poder apoyar económicamente a su familia. Fue amado y completamente apreciado por todas las personas que tuvieron la dicha de cruzarse en su camino. Uno de sus atributos más notables siempre fue su gran y perfecta sonrisa, así como su risa contagiosa.
Andrés deja a sus padres, Myriam y Andrés, y a sus hermanas Andrea, Alexa, Renata y su media hermana Daniela. También deja a sus abuelos, tíos, tías, primos y amigos.
Servicios Funerarios
Se celebrará una misa fúnebre en honor a Andrés el Sábado 6 de Junio de 2026 a las 11:00 a.m. en Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Posteriormente, el sepelio se llevará a cabo en Restlawn Memorial Park
