Andrew John Gahan

Andrew John Gahan, 77, went to be with his Lord Monday, July 29, 2013 after a long fought battle with Parkinsons. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Marica Lee Gahan, brother-in-law David Whitlock and wife Steph, children; Randy Gahan (Billie Wife), Peggy Slocum, Shirley Labree, Cheryl Shofner, and Marcy Davis, and his sons- in- law; Larry Geddes, Ron Davis, Steve Slocum, and Larry Shofner, as well as grandchildren; Marica Patton, Art Sanders, Brian Gahan, Lauren Kaillail, Courtney Mc Vay, Cristin Mehan, Shaw Gahan, Cooper Gahan, Lindsay Lester, Casey Whaley, Crystal Davis, Brooke Lockridge and 17 great-grandchildren. Born and raised in El Paso, he started his business in 1963 and was a member of Sunrise Baptist Church for the last 58 years and served as deacon there for the last 15 years. He loved his Lord, he loved his family, and he loved his country. He ran a good race, he fought a good fight and at last he climbed his mountain. Funeral Procession will leave at 1:45pm from Sunset Funeral Home Northeast for a Graveside Service at 2:00pm on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
