Angel Octavio Ronquillo

Angel Octavio Ronquillo 92, 

A devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. Angel passed away peacefully at the age of 92, just days shy of his 93rd birthday.

Angel shared a lifetime of love and devotion to La Virgencita De Guadalupe and his beloved wife, Bertha Ronquillo. Angel is survived by 7 of his 8 children, He was also a proud grandfather to 19 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Nothing brought him greater joy than having his family together.

Angel loved bowling, magic tricks, and making fresh “tortillas” and “bisquetes” from scratch for everyone, a simple act of love that became one of the many treasured traditions our family will always remember.

He had a wonderful sense of humor. He had a special way of bringing smiles to those around him. Whether through a story, funny joke, magic tricks or life experiences. His unwavering love touched everyone who knew him and will forever cherish his memory.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM followed by a Rosary at 6:00 PM on Monday August 3, 2026 at Sunset Funeral Home - East. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM at St. Mark Catholic Church, interment will follow at 11:30 AM at Mount Carmel Cemetery on Tuesday August 4, 2026.
