He is survived by his mother, Bertha Sarmiento; son, Adam Vera; and brother, Arnold Sarmiento. A visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday, November 9, 2018, at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held the following day at 10:00 a.m. at San Lorenzo Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-Americas.
