Anita J. Garcia

Anita J. Garcia joined our Lord Jesus Christ peacefully on February 19, 2016 in El Paso, Texas at the age of 73. Anita is preceded in death by her father Abraham; mother, Piedad; and brother, Abraham, Jr. Anita is survived by her husband of 56 years Rodolfo Garcia; son, Lawrence Garcia; and daughters: Cheryl Rosales, Deborah Rojas and Valerie Garcia; 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Elvira Martinez; and brothers: Domingo, Ricardo and Sergio Jimenez. Anita was an active member and choir singer at San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 4:00-9:00 p.m., with a Vigil/Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home East, 750 N. Carolina Dr. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church, 503 Hunter. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
